(a) Army Public School, Madhopur set sail on its journey in the year 1993 under the chairmanship if Col. P.S Dogra and the Principal Mrs Santosh Dogra The school is located on the lush green bank of the river Ravi, within the Military area.

(b) The school was started with classes I to V. It was recognized by CBSE in April 1999. Our first batch of 31 students made the school proud by passing the CBSE Class X exam in March 2001.

(c) It has gradually and steadily moved into its twenty eighth year with over 455 students on its roll. The school has 16 sections with modern educational amenities. A staff of 20 Teachers, 05 Adm Staff and 08 Gp ‘D’ staff members to support it. To the satisfaction of all, the blithe spirit has been carving a niche in the educational sphere by defining goals for itself in the arena of academics and co-curricular activities.

(d) Within the portal of the school an enriched environment for activities has been provided for self expression. The school is well equipped with organized computer education in its curriculum from primary level which helps the learners to overcome all inhibitions.
